Troubled pop star Justin Bieber was caught by surveillance cameras celebrating with his friends after an alleged egg attack on a neighbour’s house, according to newly released legal documents.
The Baby hitmaker was accused of throwing eggs at his neighbour’s home in Calabasas, California in January. The victim claims the incident caused $20,000 (£12,500) in damage.
Surveillance footage from Bieber’s house appears to show the singer giving his friends a ‘high five’ and congratulating each other after the incident, according to an investigator’s affidavit which was released on Friday.
The document was filed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff as part of a request to search Bieber’s Instagram account to look for evidence.
Prosecutors have not yet decided whether to press any charges over the incident.
The singer is also facing two other legal battles. He will go on trial in July in Miami, Florida for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and using an expired licence charges.
In February, Bieber was charged in connection with an alleged assault on a limousine driver in Toronto, Canada.
