Benzema attracting interest from Manchester United & Arsenal

Benzema could leave Real Madrid in the summer

Manchester United and Arsenal are set to battle it out to sign Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema in the summer.
The Daily Mirror believe the Red Devils have joined Premier League rivals Arsenal in the pursuit of the £30million-rated Frenchman.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is known to be a keen admirer of his fellow compatriot and is determined to land Benzema in the summer in order to pair the 26-year-old with Olivier Giroud.
However Manchester United have now entered the frame to land Benzema in the summer – despite the fact they are currently scouring the market for players who can replace the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra.
Incoming Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is also set to bolster his midfield options ahead of the new season, however the Netherlands head coach is unlikely to turn down the opportunity to sign a world-class forward such as Benzema.
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to listen to offers for the former Lyon striker as the La Liga giants have their sights firmly set on Luis Suarez.
Liverpool will demand a fee of around £80million for the Uruguayan international if he was to leave Anfield this summer – a fee which Real Madrid can only afford to stretch to if they can recoup funds from selling Benzema.
