It goes from bad to worse for Arsenal,
Having arrived in Dortmund with amid a defensive injury crisis, their problems have been exacerbated by the news that Jack Wilshere turned his ankle during the 2-0 defeat.
He’ll have a scan on arrival back at HQ tomorrow, but the early diagnosis looks like 2-3 weeks out.
Via PA, Wenger explained:
“Wilshere has turned his ankle. It’s difficult to say how bad it is because I’m being cautious.
“Normally it’s not very bad but because of his history (with ankle injuries) I’m being cautious.”
It’s also minor setback for Wilshere personally, who was looking to build momentum after winning the MOTM award against Man City last weekend.
