Costars Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris And Michelle Rodriguez Share Tribute And Photos On Social Media On The Anniversary Of His Death.

Paul WalkerA number of Paul Walker’s “Furious 7” costars took to their social media accounts Sunday, Nov. 30, to pay tribute to the actor who died exactly one year ago.
Walker died in a single-car accident north of Los Angeles on Nov. 30, 2013, at the age of 40, along with friend Roger Rodas. Walker was survived by teenage daughter, Meadow, his parents, his two sisters and his two brothers, according to E! News.
Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the “Fast & Furious” franchise, shared with his more than 88 million Facebook followers a photo of Walker with his 6-year-old daughter, Hania Riley with the following message: “He was a part of so much in my life… long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel (Hania)… he took a certain pride in being uncle Pablo… after all, we were filming a scene in ‘FF4’ the day she was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilicle [sic] cord.”
“He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood… that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life,” he added. “A year ago today… a year of mourning… and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo…”
Tyrese Gibson, who appears as Roman Pearce in the film series, on the other hand, posted a snap of him with Walker on his Instagram page. “A celebration of Paul William Walker will be echoed around the world,” Gibson wrote. “In this life one would hope to be this ‘effective’ 1 year ago today God called an angel home early.”
“I miss my brother I miss my friend and I miss OUR STAR!!!!!” he added. “Physically gone but forever alive in our minds, hearts and spirit…. What was once tears of pain and shock are now tears of JOY celebrating all that you stood for….. Everyone worldwide please take 5 mins out of your day to send live, prayers and energy to Paul’s family his daughter Meadow and immediate circle today will be a tough day for us…. To this day his arm is still around my neck with love and protection….. Rest in heaven….”
Ludacris, Tej Parker in the action franchise, also wrote on his Instagram page: “Always in our hearts. Can’t believe it’s been a year already. You spirit will be felt in volumes across the world forever #fast7april3rd #rip.”
Lastly, Michelle Rodriguez, who plays Letty Ortiz in the franchise, posted a photo of the late actor on her Twitter page with the following caption: “I love you Paul. Your [sic] living in the hearts of all who love you for sure. Sending mad love out to Heaven.”
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Donna Langley, chairperson of Universal Pictures – distributor of the “Fast & Furious” franchise – said that the film series will continue even without Walker.
“We think there’s at least three more [films],” Langley said of the franchise. “Paul is, and always will be, an integral part of the story, but there are many other great characters, and it’s also an opportunity to introduce new characters. I think it’s still a growing franchise.”
