Kylian Mbappe has told Monaco that he wants to leave the club – but for Real Madrid and not Arsenal, according to reports in Spain.
Spanish paper Marca claim that Mbappe told his club that he wanted the move to the Spanish capital at a meeting last week.
Of course, Marca are a very pro-Real Madrid paper and this would not be the first time that they have printed this sort of story.
Mbappe has become one of the most sought after players in Europe following a breakout season as part of the exciting Monaco side that triumphed in Ligue 1 and went to the Champions League semi-finals.
At just 18 he has all the time in the world to turn into one of the best players in Europe. It would take a world record transfer fee to get him though. Monaco have already turned down offers that would have broken the record set by Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United.
