In April 15, the 65-year-old, formerly known as Bruce, revealed she identifies as a woman.
Bruce was an Olympic athlete in the ’70s, but found a new group of fans as part of the Kardashian/Jenner clan on TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Caitlyn then branched out on her own with series I Am Cait, documenting her transition into womanhood.
“There are talks with Caitlyn and Candis Cayne [fellow trans public figure], as well as a few of their friends, for a new upcoming show, and E! should have something solid in place after the fall season,” a source told Radar, however adding that Caitlyn isn’t set on more TV.
Caitlyn has admitted she needs a breather after the whirlwind of her show. The insider also reveals I Am Cait didn’t go down too well with her family, including daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
“Every single one of Caitlyn’s children are so glad that the show is finally off the air and that it is over,” the source explained.
“To have her on the same network that KUWTK is on caused more trouble than it was worth because it gave her the platform to air out all of her dirty laundry. I Am Cait really pushed Caitlyn farther away from her family than she had ever wanted.”
Caitlyn’s Twitter tells a different story though, as she recently shared a post thanking the crew that helped make the show.
“A huge thank you to my #IAmCait family. I love you all. What an amazing experience #YouBeYou (sic),” she posted alongside a video collage of memories.
