Two men parading themselves as officers of the Nigerian Army have been nabbed and charged to court for impersonation.
According to investigations, the accused, Lucky Anene 25, Marcus Gabriel, 22 and one Ude Pascal, 39, who allegedly assisted Lucky and Marcus to get fake army identity cards, were arrested by soldiers at Ojo Army cantonment after an undercover operation exposed them.
It was learned that Anene and Marcus were allegedly caught wearing army fatique and acting as escorts to trailer drivers, while Pascal allegedly assisted them to procure fake identity cards.
The magistrate M .S Olanipekun granted the accused bail in the sum of N100, 000 and N75, 000.
The case was adjourned to October 12.
