The new deal will reportedly see Lingard have his wages doubled to £60,000 per week, as United look to secure the long-term future of the academy graduate.
Lingard has 18 months to run on his current contract, and looks set to be rewarded for his promising start to the season.
The midfielder became a regular fixture under former manager Louis van Gaal, and appears to have become a favourite of Jose Mourinho in the early stages of the season.
Lingard locked his place in the hearts of United fans last season, with an extra time winner in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace at the end of last season.
United’s kit provider Adidas are reportedly also keen to enter new negotiations with the 23-year-old, with a seven figure sum reportedly in the midst for Lingard.
The new deals coincide with a remarkable rise for Lingard who earlier this season made his England debut under interim manager Gareth Southgate.
