According to the Daily Star, West Ham could make a move to bring back Carl Jenkinson to east London on loan in January.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a successful spell first spell on loan at West Ham two season ago and then rejoined again on loan from Arsenal last season but struggled for form under Slaven Bilic and then saw his sepll terminated thanks to a serious knee injury.

Jenkinson is back to fitness and has returned to first team action for Arsenal but it still behind the pecking order at the Gunners behind Hector Bellerin for the right back spot.

The Star says that Jenkinson will be considering his future in the new year but Bellerin is interesting Manchester City and Barcelona and has stalled on agreeing a new.

The disappearance in recent weeks of Alvaro Arbeloa and a long-term injury to Sam Byram has meant that the club is considering re-inforcing the right back spot at the London Stadium.
